Heritage Istanbul will take place between 1 and 4 April 2026

Organised under the slogan “Preserve the Past for the Future”, Heritage İstanbul—a platform dedicated to cultural and natural heritage—aims, through its conferences, to discuss key developments and trends within the sector and to host visionary and enlightening talks by professionals and academics; and through its exhibition, introduce global trends, current systems and technologies in cultural heritage, with the participation of specialist organisations from Turkey and Europe in the fields of archaeology, restoration, museology and librarianship; and through its workshops; to raise awareness among visitors, has been organised since 2015.

Heritage Istanbul is organised by Cultural Heritage Platforms with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, the General Directorate of Museums and Cultural Assets, the Istanbul Governor’s Office and the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

Heritage Istanbul, recognised as one of the most significant events in the field of international cultural heritage thanks to its series of fairs and conferences, and featuring over 120 national and international participants, will welcome visitors for the ninth time this year.
